It is padded, and quite substantially so.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt’s fairly heavy and extremely warm. Once you put it on, it doesn't feel as heavy as it does in your hands, and it’s actually very comfortable.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt’s just too cool. I had seen this collection in old magazines and on Instagram back in the day, and it’s been a jacket I’ve been vaguely interested in for a long time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe reason is that two years ago in France, I fell in love at first sight with a 1986 C.P. mouton coat, which was the following year’s collection. It featured that same thick knit on the collar and cuffs seen here, and ever since then, I’ve been curious—doing my research and asking around—which is how I discovered this jacket.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI mention this every time I introduce these pieces, but Massimo Osti’s clothing uses incredible fabrics. It’s a shame you can't touch it, but it’s truly high-quality material. The knit parts are thick and substantial, and the glossy lining fabric is thick and springy, almost like rayon—the attention to detail is truly amazing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt’s just a feeling, but having owned many 80s C.P. pieces, I feel the 80s collections often have this slightly \"dowdy\" quality compared to pieces produced in the 90s. I often find myself admiring the obsessiveness of it all, wondering, \"Did they really have to go that far?\"\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt’s hard to explain. Haha.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnyway, it’s a magnificent jacket.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis rounded, thick silhouette—wearing it with dropped shoulders looks so cool.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor some reason, there’s a sexiness to its dowdiness; it has a mysterious atmosphere.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe aura it radiates is excellent. It fits like an XL, but we’ve also photographed it on a 167cm female model.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eObviously it’s for men, but I really want women to try out these vintage C.P. and Stone Island pieces.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is just my opinion, but occasionally—and I mean rarely—I see a woman on the street wearing one, and the vibe they radiate is exceptionally cool. In fact, there are many pages in the official books where female models are wearing these, and it looks great—refined, sexy. Haha.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI’ve included a lot of photos, so please take your time looking through them.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLastly, as noted at the bottom, regarding the condition:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are some repairs on both sleeves and near the left collarbone on the front. There are also small holes in the knit and general signs of aging throughout.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHowever, the zipper is smooth, and there are no missing buttons. It’s in a condition where it can still be worn hard and tough. The lining is clean, and the padding is nice and plump.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eActually, these buttons are iconic for vintage C.P. There are several other types, but they are frequently found on items from around the 80s.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI personally wear a lot of archive pieces, and since this brand was so loved back then, I almost never come across items in \"perfect\" condition.
