Featuring lace accents throughout,

large puff sleeves that flare from pleated shoulders,

a modest stand collar, and button closures at the back.

This is a lace blouse from West Germany, circa the 1980s,

sampling the style of Victorian and Edwardian era blouses.

It is made of a thin, gauze-like cotton material with a textured, deep-toned fabric that, up close, looks almost like a faint kasuri or slub weave.

In addition to the ornate lace that makes the bust area semi-sheer, plenty of lace is also used on the sleeves and collar.

I often dislike synthetic lace because its cheap feel makes it stand out too much,

but the quality of the materials here is excellent; it doesn't look cheap and blends in beautifully.

It’s great because it’s much more wearable than an antique lace blouse.

I recommend this with confidence!
