unknown vintage black doll

A cute little black dwarf fellow.

He stands about 40cm tall.

He is a mysterious vintage doll and I don't know the specifics, but he is just incredibly cute.

The thick lips peeking out from his shaggy beard are adorable.

The combination of pink leggings and his hat is charming.I wonder if he was made in other colors too?

I have a soft spot for black characters; they really draw me in.

He has something in common with the expensive antique Golly dolls, but

there is also a rarity to him, as not many were made.

Judging by the parts and fabric, I believe he is from the 60s or 70s.

He has a nice weight to him, and if you lean him against a wall, he stands upright perfectly.
