I love Jil Sander. This was a lucky find at a flea market in Germany.
An Italian-made mesh skirt from the 2000s or later.
A sheer, see-through navy piece with a soft balloon silhouette.
There is no material tag, but it is likely nylon or some other synthetic fiber;
it has a bit of firmness and stiffness, which allows it to puff up naturally.
The hem is slightly gathered inward like ribbing, creating a cute, rounded silhouette.
There is a tube-like elastic band at the waist, so
you can style it as a tube top above the chest or as a one-shoulder piece—the possibilities are endless.
Even in its simplicity, the unique use of fabric is quintessentially Jil Sander.
Sheer layering pieces are great to have regardless of the season, aren't they?
