I can hardly believe this braided design existed in the HERMÉS archives.
The thick, densely woven braid is simple, bold, and incredibly cool.
It features deep, dark shadows within the gaps of the weave, and a distinct, exquisite twist throughout the entire piece.

While the structure is very similar to fox tail or wheat chains, it doesn't have the overly precise, uniform look of modern pieces.

The clasp is a slide-in type similar to the HERMÉS Vendôme; while the safety hook is missing, the clasp clicks securely and remains sturdy.
It features the simple block-letter HERMÉS PARIS logo, the maker's mark, and the boar's head hallmark used prior to 1962. The silver purity is unknown, but I suspect it is .950.
