Such an incredibly cool garment.
It’s a major, major staple in French vintage, but I’m re-proposing it simply because it’s just so damn good.
I’ve sold a few pieces in the showroom before, but believe it or not, this is the first time I’ve stocked it on the website..
For the past few days in Prague, the temperature has been teasing us—is spring finally here? No, maybe not yet—and as I was casually looking through my closet, I thought I’d pull out a jacket I hadn't worn in a while. I wore it for the day and realized, "Wait, was this piece always this cool?" And that’s how it ended up as today's arrival. Haha.
It’s made of a rough cotton canvas; this particular one hasn't been worn much, so it’s still crisp, but as you wear and wash it repeatedly, it will develop a nice fade and become softer. It’s a jacket you can enjoy for a lifetime—it’s incredibly tough, but what I love about it is that it’s neither thick nor heavy.
There are no pockets on the front, but there are two large ones on the inside, which feels more secure and is a design I personally really like.
And the thing I love most is the collar.
It looks great whether you wear it popped up or folded down.
There’s a white tag on the front, but rest assured, it comes off easily.
I’ve removed mine, as I think it looks better that way.
I like it even better when it’s simpler.
