A vintage German leather sports jacket. Circa 1950s.
Deep black, superb leather quality, with a double-breasted design and this silhouette and fit. The condition is also impeccable.

The lining is a high-quality, thinly brushed cotton.
I really appreciate this type of lining, as it allows for versatility with layering underneath!
The leather is thick and quite tough, yet soft.
Before arriving here, I gave it two thorough oil treatments to make it even softer and give it a black sheen. I believe the more you wear it, the softer the leather will become as it conforms to the wearer's body. Vintage items have such high quality; despite being this old, you can still wear it hard and often.
There are four pockets on the front for storage, and one additional chest pocket on the inside.
The inside of the cuffs uses high-quality wool knit, which is great for keeping out the cold wind.
Also, this knit isn't itchy, which is a relief. If you don't need it, I think it would be fine to just cut it off with scissors.
For the coming season, this is a jacket I'd want to wear—and I want you to wear it—over your favorite go-to t-shirt to look sharp.
Open, closed, or even buttoned all the way up to the collar—it looks cool from every 360-degree angle. Haha.
Surprisingly, I don't actually own a leather jacket of this type as a personal item, so if it's still here, I'd like to buy it for myself.
