Tough cotton twill fabric that has become incredibly soft from wear. The tone-on-tone patchwork is just lovely.

The side pockets are pass-throughs, but that doesn't even matter anymore.
There are no belt loops on the waist, but it can be adjusted with the cinch buckle on the back—it's great to find work pants of this style that don't have an overly large waist.
