It’s a 50s shirt iconic for its heavy, buttery-smooth, thick rayon, loop collar, and flap pockets.
I haven’t seen one in a long time. Haha.
This is the first time we’ve had one in stock at TOTO. It’s also partially because you hardly ever come across them when you’re in Europe. Haha.
The color is interesting on this piece—it’s a cold, grayish tone, with deep blue stitching.
I suspect it’s been dyed.
The cool-toned colorway looks great. The color in the worn photos is accurate to how it looks in person.
And honestly, nothing beats rayon from this era...
In fact, I don't think anything beats a shirt from this era at all.
The aura and sex appeal it exudes are truly captivating.
On a personal note, I’ve been using vintage rayon shirts since I was in high school. I’m still wearing them today. Haha.
