This is vintage Czechoslovakian military snow camouflage, originally issued to snipers back in the day.
While the Russian army had something similar at the time, this design with its short length, extremely wide body, and massive hood is really cute.
The soft, vintage cotton is also wonderful.
The pockets are pass-through style.
You can wear it under something, or wear it on top of layers as it was originally intended—it looks cool either way. The way it bulks up when layered is quite nice.
