1960s East German simple top - L

Vintage East German wool top.

High gauge, lightweight, and truly high quality.

It’s like John Smedley; in any case, it’s not hot or thick, so it feels like a long-sleeve tee.

A deep, elegant green with bits of damage and repairs here and there.

This unbalanced combination is incredibly sexy.

To top it off, old cotton fabric elbow patches have been sewn onto the inside.

I believe they were added by the previous owner using period-correct fabric. Such good taste.

So, it actually looked cool worn inside out—if anything, I’d prefer to wear it that way. Haha.

A piece for the vintage connoisseur. I highly, highly recommend it.

It has been washed once.
