Since it's a single layer of light-ounce wool, it works for spring too—in fact, I’d love to enjoy wearing it over a short-sleeved tee.
I actually went on a buying trip to France recently, and I found two of them. One had quite a few stains and other damage from storage, so I’ve been enjoying that one as a personal item; I’ve only worn it three times, but the satisfaction is incredible. haha
Although it's wool, it has no lining, so I wear it like a shirt. My current favorite styling is wearing a padded vest over it. haha
Well, anyway, it’s great in so many ways; first of all, the look is super cool. It’s a classic.
The fact that the front has snap buttons is a nice change of pace, too—it's easy to put on and take off. There is one pocket on the inside.
I like that it has a compact size, and I really love the elastic in the back of the waist.
It’s precisely because it’s such an understated piece of clothing that it works well as an accent.
You can wear it like something between a shirt and a jacket.
