Vintage for the "cool older guy." (I call it that myself.)
A work jacket from Germany, circa the 1960s.
It looks plain at first glance, but it has an incredible vibe, and the fabric is fantastic.
Brown corduroy, three-button front with patch pockets. So cool.
It has a casual look, but the shape is surprisingly elegant.
The sleeves are forward-set, so the silhouette when worn is superb—it looks great from 360 degrees.
I love that it's unlined and made as a single layer, and since the chest width is fairly generous, it should be fun to style in a variety of ways.
You can't see the inner layers in the photo, but I wore this jacket over a thick wool thermal and a T-shirt, and there was still room to fit more thick layers underneath.
It was about -3 or -4 degrees today, so I wore some trousers as thick as a quilt for the first time in a while; styling it with those worked out really well, too.
Condition is deadstock.
I highly recommend this one.
It has been washed once.
