A rare cotton piqué work jacket from Italy, dating back to around the 60s.
It has an incredible aura in person, and beyond that, the quality of the fabric is exceptional.
Since it's deadstock, it's still quite stiff, but as you wear and wash it, it will soften up and conform to your body. I've broken in a piqué hunting jacket from deadstock before, and if you just wear it hard and wash it repeatedly, it really develops a cool look. That’s true originality.
This is our first time stocking an Italian work jacket in a piqué material here at TOTO; when I sourced it, I was honestly surprised that something like this even existed.
It's also very refreshing since I rarely come across pieces like this through my usual sourcing routes.
The size is also excellent—not too big, not too small, just ideal.
If it doesn't sell, I’d love to keep it for myself and beat it up with wear.
