1950s Le Mont St Michel black moleskin jacket

It’s been a while since I’ve had an old black moleskin jacket.

It has faded gently all over, and the repair on the front looks cool.

It’s not overdone; I like how understated it is.

I also personally love this chest pocket—it’s slightly small and V-shaped.

It’s a characteristic design of old moleskin, and I like it because it looks cooler than the simple, large ones.

It’s the most wearable size, not too big and not too small.

I always wear an old French black moleskin jacket in the spring; they really are great garments.
