A wonderfully cool pullover from Scandinavia, dating from around the 60s or 70s. I believe it was likely intended for skiing. A drawstring was tucked inside one of the pockets, presumably to cinch the waist.
It’s from a manufacturer called Clover Sports. I see their items occasionally, but this is the first time I’ve come across one this stylish.
The combination of a solid black color and this design is just... perfect. It features one zippered pocket, and there’s also a side zip on one side to make it easier to put on. It’s a simple, stylish design.
And above all, the quality of the nylon and knit is just too good. Haha.
The nylon is double-layered; the outer layer is a thick, supple, high-quality nylon with a nice heft, while the inner lining is a standard, familiar type of nylon. The knit parts at the cuffs, hem, and neck are also substantial, really high-quality materials.
This is the first time I’ve encountered an item of this type since coming here that has really resonated with me so strongly. Most of all, the fact that it's black makes it the best.
The condition is good, and the size is about a men’s L.
It’s not an item I can easily stock up on, so I highly recommend it for anyone who fits the size.
