1970s Black padded jacket, Yugoslavia

Black nylon padded sports jacket.

It’s exceptionally well-made, and this color—black—is rare for nylon sportswear from this era, especially in this condition. The slight sheen to the black is cool, in a bit of a delinquent kind of way, haha.

It’s also a vintage piece from the former Yugoslavia, which you don't come across very often.

Back then, it was a socialist state, and apparently, this piece was manufactured at a state-run factory in the former Yugoslavia.

I see, that explains why the quality is so good, haha.

I love how it has that sharp, alluring vibe despite the simple design typical of the socialist era.

The presence of the old aluminum zipper is exquisite and is one of my favorite details.

I think it looks especially good because of this fabric and color.

It’s a larger size, especially in the body width.

Personally, this is one of the outer layers I want to wear right now.
