Beyond their appearance, these are incredibly substantial, heavy-duty bangles.
Made from 800 silver, commonly used during this era, they possess high hardness,
making them rigid and resistant to bending, unlike 925 silver.
While size and appearance are almost identical to the other bangle,
this one is 40g heavier, which is reflected in the price difference.
I believe this is the first time I've encountered a bangle weighing over 100g. It’s rare, and truly heavy—a weight that brings a sense of fulfillment.
As you can see, taking measurements was quite difficult,
but based on how they fit both of our wrists, one male and one female,
we recommend them for those with a wrist circumference of 15-17cm at the thinnest point.
They might slip off if your wrists are too thin, so a slightly snug fit where you slide them on firmly will allow them to sit perfectly.
For our female model with a 14cm wrist, the fit was a bit unstable at the wrist, so it seemed best worn higher up the arm or over clothing.
JACOB is said to be the name of the silversmith who worked for this manufacturer in the 70s,
a niche piece of French jewelry for which we could not track down any other works.
It is extremely rare to find two of such special, identical items at the same time,
so we highly recommend them as a pair for couples, or as a gift for an anniversary.
