1970s French work jacket.

I picked this up because of its beautifully worn-in character.

It’s funny to think of the 70s, but that’s 50 years ago—it’s vintage!

Old clothes are made with such great, durable materials, especially workwear and military gear.

While the silhouette and color might feel familiar, I wore one again for the first time in a while and was reminded of just how cool they look.

The fabric has softened nicely, so it feels as lightweight as a shirt.

I usually wear this type of work jacket directly against my skin; it’s easy to move in, has convenient pockets, and above all, you don't have to worry about getting it dirty. It’s easy to wash, and the more you wear it, the better it looks. You really grow attached to it, haha.

I also love that the specific shade of French blue is truly one-of-a-kind.

It looks great over shorts, too, so please enjoy styling it in your own unique way.
