1970s French work trousers

After wearing these for the first time in a while, I was reminded once again: they really are great.

French work pants from the 70s. Can you believe that was already 50 years ago? So old!

Because the design is so simple, it’s hard to find a specific detail to highlight, but given their intended use, they are incredibly tough and only get better-looking the more you wear them.

Made of cotton, they’ve already been broken in and have a fantastic character.

Not too thick and not too thin—the perfect pair for daily wear.

I’ve looked at workwear from all over Europe, but the French variety has such a beautiful shade of blue, whether it’s deadstock or not.

You can tell the second you see it. Haha.

I go to France to buy stock often, but they’re getting harder to find every year and the prices are skyrocketing. Personally, I think it will be difficult to restock them at this price in a few years, so for that reason as well, I highly recommend this pair.

The suspender buttons remain on the inside, so while it's fine to wear them with a belt, I also recommend styling them classically with suspenders once in a while.

Throw these on with a t-shirt in the summer, and you're good to go!
