1970s European handmade poncho.
Features a fantastic pattern, pockets, a collar that feels period-accurate, and a large, distinctive zip.
In every respect, this is a truly wonderful garment.
The material is wool, but I suspect it is a blend with acrylic or another material. I am fairly certain of that.
Think of it as having the texture of a soft, reasonably sturdy blanket.
It is quite substantial but not heavy at all, making it very easy to wear. It is an extremely versatile piece for the coming season; throw it over a spring coat, or layer it effortlessly over a blouse or cut-and-sew top.
It would also look great as an accent piece for an all-black or monotone outfit.
