These Italian-made earrings feature an irresistible combination of lapis lazuli and silver.
I first discovered them at an antique store during my initial trip to Naples.
Between the intense September sun and the wonderfully positive atmosphere of the city and its people,
I fell in love at first sight with the lapis, which was as vivid a blue as the Neapolitan sky, and bought them on the spot.
The pairing of the large, gourd-shaped silver hoop design with the globe-like round lapis lazuli is magnificent, and
when I tried them on, I fell even more in love with the balance of their delicate, slender lines and bold presence.
A rare gem with that unique character only found in vintage pieces that weren't mass-produced.
They are filled with such wonderful memories and are such exquisite pieces that I couldn't bring myself to let them go, but I’ve decided to release them now.
