Wonderful Mexican silver jewelry.

A set of a silver mesh necklace and bracelet featuring turquoise.
It is constructed from three-ring chainmail that has been pressed flat into mesh silver,
with 36 turquoise stones, each carefully bezel-set (a setting method that encloses the entire perimeter of the stone, protecting it while ensuring it remains secure).
The thick mesh silver sits between choker and princess length, providing an eye-catching, substantial presence around the neckline.
The insert-style clasp functions well without detracting from the appearance, and because it requires a certain amount of force to attach and detach, it is a secure, reliable closure.
Every part is constructed by hand,
and it radiates that unique atmosphere only vintage silver jewelry can possess—
a piece that feels both chillingly perfect in its craftsmanship and somehow warm at the same time.

Turquoise and silver jewelry is commonly seen in Mexican and Native American styles,
and while I have seen and bought plenty in the US and Mexico, I found it rare and incredibly appealing that this piece completely lacks the typical ethnic or traditional feel often associated with it.
Honestly, this is the first time I have encountered something that struck me this deeply.
And to find it as a set with the necklace is just wonderful.
The distinctive vintage stamp from Taxco, Mexico, in the 70s is also incredibly cool.
Apparently, "TNC" is the artist's name.
I suspect it is from the 70s,
though some have claimed in certain literature that it is from the 40s-50s,
but I cannot be certain as I haven't read that documentation myself.
All the stones are present, and it is in excellent condition with almost no tarnishing.
Mexican jewelry is not very common in Europe,
but this is a memorable treasure that was recommended by my trusted Parisian jeweler, which truly moved me.
