Wonderful Mexican silver jewelry.
I’ve finally been able to source a piece that truly satisfies me, and it is now available.
A set consisting of a silver mesh necklace and bracelet featuring turquoise.
The mesh silver is created by assembling three-ring chainmail and pressing it flat,
with 16 turquoise stones, each carefully bezel-set (a method of securing a stone by surrounding it entirely to protect it while keeping it firmly in place).
The insert-style clasp functions perfectly without compromising the aesthetics; it requires a bit of force to open and close, making it a secure fastener that won't easily come undone.
Every part is constructed by hand,
and it radiates that unique atmosphere found in vintage silver jewelry,
offering a sense of warmth despite the awe-inspiring perfection of its craftsmanship.

Turquoise silver is commonly seen in Mexican and Native American jewelry,
and having seen and purchased many pieces in the U.S. and Mexico over the years,
I find it rare and incredibly refreshing that this piece lacks any of that typical ethnic or traditional feel.
Honestly, this is the first time I've encountered something that moved me this much.
And to find it as a set with the necklace is just too exciting.
The characteristic 70s Taxco, Mexico hallmark is also incredibly tasteful.
TNC is said to be the artist's name.
Some have determined it to be from the 40s-50s in certain literature,
but I haven't read that documentation myself, so I cannot say for certain.
All stones are present, and despite some minor tarnishing, it is in excellent condition.
There is a small ring that looks like a trace of an original safety chain,
but I suspect it might have been intentionally removed for aesthetic reasons. It honestly looks better without it.
Mexican jewelry is not often seen in Europe,
but this is a memorable piece that I was recommended by my reliable jeweler in Paris, and it truly left an impression on me.
