A killer 70s rider's jacket.
After we sold out of a rider's jacket from the same era the other day, we managed to get another one in stock!
There's just no getting around it—70s leather jackets are truly cool. Everything from the zippers and lining to the shape and leather quality is top-tier. Once you experience it, you can't go back. Haha.
This piece is from Sweden and fits anywhere from a lady's to a size M.
Slim men should be able to wear it too. Personally, I almost always wear rider's jackets open, so I think it's best to wear them nice and snug—it's a great way to wear them that really honors the culture.
It's made of goat leather, which is incredibly soft, supple, and ideal.
I applied oil twice before putting it on the floor, so it's even softer now, with a beautiful black sheen. So cool.
All the zippers are original vintage OPTI and still run perfectly smooth. This piece is in truly fantastic condition.
You might have the impression that TOTO stocks these 70s rider's jackets all the time, but finding them is actually an incredibly difficult task... especially in this condition.
Try asking your local vintage shop owner about it. Haha.
The lining is a quintessential 70s punk red quilting—the best!!
Another great point is that it's so thin you can barely tell if there's any batting in it. To the touch, it doesn't feel like there is. Haha.
That makes a huge difference; it completely changes the silhouette and comfort when worn.
This is a piece that will definitely be a starter in your rotation for the coming season. An original vintage rider's jacket is absolutely cooler than one from a new brand. The level of authenticity is just on a different level!!
