An incredible Adidas piece—this is a garment I will never be able to forget for the rest of my life!
I’m honestly at a loss as to where to begin, so I'll start with the details.
Schmahn was a sportswear manufacturer that existed in Germany at the time; they began manufacturing for Adidas in the late 60s. Since the company’s name appears on older Adidas tags, these are sometimes referred to here as "Schmahn jackets."
This uniform was supplied to the German women's national team for the 1972 Summer Olympics held in Munich, Germany. I managed to find a photo from that time, so I’ve posted it for you to see.

What an incredibly rare color, and it looks insanely cool. It’s the first time I’ve ever seen one, and I’m genuinely excited. Haha.
The material is pure wool knit. It’s thick, substantial, and high-gauge—the best material I’ve ever encountered.
At least out of all the Adidas items I’ve seen, it stands out by a mile!!
It’s not jersey—it’s an exquisite knit. Truly magnificent.
Although it appears to have been supplied to the women’s national team, it is a quite large size.
There is a small stain on the left sleeve cuff, but I believe this is deadstock; to the touch, it feels as though it has never been washed.
Because of this, there is no shrinkage at this large size, and all the buttons are original and in beautiful condition!!
The condition and size are truly excellent.
Beyond just being cool, it’s rare to come across a vintage Adidas piece of this caliber.
It’s a bit pricey, but this is a piece you absolutely cannot go wrong with.
