1972 Kiel Olympics

This is a commemorative T-shirt from the 1972 Olympic sailing events held in the northern German seaside city of Kiel.

It features a surprisingly normcore design for a commemorative festival item.

The vibrant deep blue fabric is paired with a slightly faded print, and the design and placement of the text and logos are truly remarkable.

With a binder neck and unique sleeve design, it has a feminine, compact 70s silhouette.

However, the wide body width prevents it from being too tight, giving it a perfect fit, and the shorter sleeve length creates a great balance.

Furthermore, it is in what appears to be an almost unworn condition.
