The fit is just too good. This exquisitely seamless pattern—it’s wonderful, truly wonderful.

The fabric is virgin wool—it has a suit-like texture and is the perfect weight for early spring.
If you look closely, it has a fine plaid pattern. The color is that exquisite dark shade, somewhere between black and brown, just as it appears in the photos.
The velvet on the lapel and the scarf tucked into the chest pocket are quintessentially ESCADA—a nod to that glamorous era—but
overall, the aesthetic is modern and honestly just too good. I truly want this for myself.
Actually, the founder of ESCADA, whose name—Margaretha—appears on the tag, was originally a top model and a star mannequin for Dior.
She was a cool, Swedish-born woman who didn't just want to walk runways, but fulfilled her ambition to become a designer.
Vintage ESCADA is often associated with daring and provocative designs, but they actually created many simple, beautifully lined clothes. It makes perfect sense when you realize they were made by a professional who knew how to wear clothes beautifully.
