1980s French special bomber jacket

A wonderful jacket from 80s France.

Personally, I find this jumper to be one of the finest I have ever seen, and I am certain it is a piece I will never forget.

The front features a distinctive four-pocket design. Despite this dynamic look, it exudes a certain elegance—a refined appearance that isn't overdone. The outer fabric is simply magnificent.

The quality tag came off during ironing, but please rest assured that I have kept it.

It is a blend of 52% cotton and 48% rayon in a deep navy color. It has a lovely sheen and an incredible allure.

This material is truly amazing; you almost never find jackets like this made from this specific blend. It’s ideal, in a word.

The phrase on the tag, "tissu specialement etudie pour teinture artisanale," translates from French to "fabric specially studied for artisanal dyeing."

Indeed. I couldn't agree more. Haha.

It feels like a guarantee, or perhaps an official certification of sorts... haha.

This tag itself isn't a brand name, but rather a type of French tag used for official registrations or similar purposes; I couldn't find the exact details no matter how much I researched.

All I can say is that the choice of fabric, the design, the zippers, and the lining material are all truly superb. I imagine it would be a huge deal if it had been launched by a major label.

But this time, it just happens to be from an unknown maker.

I find this to be an interesting, unknown, and cool part of vintage clothing history.

The lining is made of high-quality, soft cotton and features one pocket. There is also a very thin layer of padding inside. It is more of a spring-to-autumn blouson than a winter one. You could just throw it on over a tee, and that would honestly be enough.

I believe this is a blouson that is a cut or two above the rest.

In any case, it is a cool, one-of-a-kind jacket.

If it doesn't sell, I plan to keep it for my own collection.
