This cardigan is just unfair.
From a manufacturer in the city of Salzburg, Austria, in the 80s.

On a pale lemon-yellow knit base,
there are plump wool pom-pom fruits sewn on, popping out from the fabric.
The cuteness is impossible to ignore.
If I happened to be behind someone wearing this on an escalator,
I think I’d have to say something. Lol
The wool knit is a low gauge and not too thick.
In the photos, I am wearing a thick navy cotton knit underneath.
The sleeves are roomy, so I think it would be lovely worn over another knit or cardigan.
I occasionally come across Austrian clothes in places like Paris or Berlin,
and I especially love their knitwear for the beautiful colors.
Famous brands like Fanil Lemayr, which can cost hundreds of thousands of yen even as vintage, are also from Vienna.
This is the first time I've encountered such an intricate and interesting knit from Austria.
I highly, highly recommend it. This is exactly the kind of vintage I love. If you feel the same, you need this.
The fruit parts are sewn on, and the threads acting as stems are casually passed through the body of the knit.
This haphazard finish is just adorable.
