So cool... what is this knit!
That was my first impression when I sourced it. I bought it in Germany, and I just thought, "This is so German—so sharp." Haha.
Anyway, I wanted to convey it through photos, so I took a lot of detailed shots—please make sure to see them all.
This knit isn't just about the design; the construction is truly incredible...
First, there's the striking zip design, but the quality of the knit material and leather, the vintage riri zip, the lining construction, the materials—everything is top-tier.
The knit is likely a wool-acrylic blend. It’s a substantial material with just the right amount of heft.
The leather is soft, and it’s fully lined with what I believe to be viscose rayon.
It feels smooth yet slightly textured... It’s magnificent.
It’s likely from the late 70s or later, though details are unknown.
And above all, the hip pockets are so interesting. Having two fully functional hip pockets on a design like this is just over-the-top, right? Haha.
The fun part starts here: the right hip pocket is designed for the front, while the left is made for the back—I'll leave that as a surprise for when you receive it.
