One of my favorite lace blouses. This piece is the culmination of everything I love.
A beautiful white cotton blouse made around the 80s.
It features a lace stand-up collar, fine vertical pleats from the shoulders to the bust,
and antique lace adorning those lines.
The back is simple cotton fabric, but like the front, it has a V-shaped yoke that conceals the shoulder seams.
The buttons are tiny, bean-sized plastic ones. These buttons are truly adorable and elegantly complement the overall vibe.
It has been years since I found such a perfect lace blouse; when I did, my mind went blank. Haha.
No matter how careful the craftsmanship or how high the quality of 100-year-old antique lace is,
the lace itself is so delicate that simply wearing it becomes difficult. In fact, things I could wear ten years ago are sometimes unwearable now.
Repairs are nearly impossible, so even if you want a delicate lace blouse, it’s quite a challenge...
This combination blouse clears up all those concerns.
It likely uses antique lace only on the chest, while the rest of the body was crafted in the 80s.
The construction is wonderful in every detail, and since it wouldn't be suitable for mass production,
and there are no tags, I believe it is likely handmade.

It’s brilliant that they used guipure lace (likely from around the same era) for the stand-up collar where it touches the skin and sweat.
Unlike overly delicate antique pieces, it is sturdy, so it felt very reassuring when I actually tried it on.
The fit isn't too tight or too loose, with a comfortable amount of room around the neck.
Also, on the back of the stand-up collar, there are three transparent buttons that are hard to see. Even though the lace is soft, it holds its height beautifully without sagging. Just how much did they understand about this?
Overall, the body width and armholes are generous, and the length is long, making for a roomy fit.
This is something that could never be achieved with an antique blouse; it’s comfortable and can be worn without extra care.
There is very slight damage to the lace, but it is minimal and inconspicuous.
One could almost call it in perfect condition.
Wow, I am truly amazed by how much thought went into every detail—understanding lace, clothing, and the human body.
This is a piece that has truly moved my heart.
I don't want to let it go... but please, enjoy it. Haha.
Hand washing is recommended, but if using a washing machine, please fold it to protect the lace, place it in a small mesh laundry bag (to prevent it from moving inside), and wash on the delicate cycle.
