This item was issued to the Border Guard authorized by the German Federal Armed Forces at the time.
The design is slightly different, but the gray version, which has a similar shape, is relatively common. There was also a white version for the Air Force at the time, but it seems that was for hospital use. I was told these details by someone who was involved back then.
This minimalist design is truly cool, and the silhouette is perfect as well.
The leather is also soft and comfortable to wear.
