1981 UK RAF MK3 aircrew trousers

MK3 trousers from the British Royal Air Force, commonly known as the RAF.

When I hear "MK3," I think of flight jackets,

so I never imagined there would be such an incredibly cool pair of overalls.

The amazing front zip and pocket placement,

the waist design that hides the stomach with three cute buttons,

and furthermore, the masterpiece of fabric quality when you pick them up—

and to top it all off, they are a size I (a 167cm woman) can actually wear, yaba!

The front has zip after zip and multiple pockets,

a design that gets geekier the more you look at it.

The waist pockets are not only through-zips but also feature independent pockets.

For some reason, the sides of the pockets below the knees are also through-openings. (I’m curious about the purpose!)

The silhouette, which features a wide, baggy hip tapering down,

has an 80s vibe, and it is incredibly cool that I can wear it in my size.

This is an original manufactured in 1981, and the level of perfection is incomparable to modern items.

The fabric is simply fantastic, a high-density cotton with a slight luster and glossy finish.

It has a slick, supple feel like cotton gabardine,

and a sturdy thickness that is durable against cold and abrasion while prioritizing ease of movement.

A garment of the highest quality and level of perfection, created by the great United Kingdom with the full might of the nation.

Marked as size 1, a rare men's small size,

which fits roughly like a women's M to L,

but because the belt loops have infinite Velcro, you can cinch the waist wherever you like,

making these rare overalls a great fit for a wide range of body types.

Designed for cold weather, they are fully lined,

making this a military item you can enjoy not only in the coming season but also throughout the winter.

I feel you could wear these comfortably throughout the year except for midsummer.

Since there is a name written on the tag, I judge these not to be deadstock,

but the condition is so flawless that you would think they were.

Perhaps due to being worn a few times or less,

they feel very comfortable and easy to wear, conforming well to the body.

Right now, they still have that luster and look very similar to deadstock Ventile,

but these are trousers worth "growing" that will exude even more character the more you wear them.
