Vintage Burberry oiled jacket.
Manufactured in England in 1987.
A well-worn piece with incredible aging. It looks great.
I can only imagine how much work it took to get it to this point. Haha.
However, it remains in great condition—the ideal look and state for continued, tough wear.
With four pockets on the front and two inside, you won't even need a bag.
The lining is lovely too. I like that you can't tell it's Burberry at first glance. (A point I personally really like.)
Size marked is XL, and it fits true to size. The chest is exceptionally wide, which is really nice. (Please see the photos.)
It also lacks the typical stickiness or odors, which is another plus.
The color is a deep green that has faded over time.
It’s a piece with a rugged, "stray dog" sort of charm that I love. The kind of piece that would suit a grown-up smoking a cigarette. Haha.
It’s a very cool item, and I find Burberry’s oiled jackets have a different kind of appeal compared to Barbour. In fact, they are quite rare.

Condition - Wonderful aging throughout. Still in ideal condition for tough, long-term wear. There is a small tear on the outer fabric near the right cuff (left when worn), but it is not an issue. This is common with old oiled jackets, and since repairing it would only make it look cooler, I recommend having it mended if it bothers you. I can also introduce you to some excellent repair shops in Japan, so please let me know if you need assistance.
