1990 NOVÁ SKUPINA group exhibition

A poster for a group exhibition of artists held in 1990.

I was really drawn to the placement of the text. It's so cool.

With its clean, simple font and the names of the participating artists neatly aligned,

it’s a wonderful piece of typography, masterfully and stylishly organized using only black, white, and gray.

I really think it's amazing how a design consisting only of text can pique your interest and captivate your eyes.

A joint exhibition by up-and-coming artists who gathered during the turbulent times of 1990, less than a year after the collapse of socialism in '89, must have been absolutely fascinating.

As it is old paper, there is some minor damage and fading, but it remains in good condition, which only adds to its charm.

We highly recommend framing it, but if you find drilling holes in the wall troublesome, you can also just tape it up as is.

For reference, we attached ours by putting masking tape on the four corners and then applying double-sided tape over that.

The item will be shipped in a sturdy, cylindrical cardboard tube.
