I don't personally pay much attention to whether denim is garment-dyed or yarn-dyed, but statistically speaking, yarn-dyed pairs often have or develop a cooler, more sophisticated fade.
A notable characteristic is that they turn a grayish color as the dye fades, which looks great.
I believe this pair was worn with a great deal of care; areas that tend to tear from the stress of frequent wear have been neatly repaired with darning.
I know this well because I often end up repairing the exact same spots on my own jeans over and over again. Haha.
With a great size and silhouette, I can sincerely recommend this pair.
