It’s a piece my wife has had in her own collection for decades.
I personally call it a masterpiece, and I came across it during my buying trip to France last weekend.
I was so excited. At TOTO, we try not to stock Ralph Lauren too often, so we are extremely picky with what we buy. The fact that it’s available in many places is one big reason for that pickiness, but I simply won't buy it unless it really strikes a chord with me.
The crisp, high-density cotton fabric is truly excellent, and it’s what creates this perfect, airy silhouette. It’s cool from every 360-degree angle.
What I love most is that there is absolutely no brand posturing; it has a modest, elegant look.
The aura it radiates in person is incredible—it's just so stylish.
It's light, made of great fabric, and has this silhouette—plus, as you'd expect from this brand, the sewing and pattern are superb.
I highly recommend it; it’s not often you come across a coat this cool.

Condition - There is a faint stain on the front hem (it's inconspicuous, to the point that only the owner would notice), which I have shown in the very last photo. Also, a button on the front left pocket is missing, but it’s not an issue. There are spare buttons attached to the lining, so you could use one of those to replace it. Overall, the condition is good.
