An incredible pair of women's trousers has arrived.
These are rare early 90s cotton pants made in Nepal.
Beautiful Nepali cotton with a woven pattern.
In the photos, they look as stiff and sturdy as chemical-wash denim,
but the cotton is thick, soft, and durable to wear.
They feature a high-rise fit with a front zipper,
and a beautiful flare silhouette similar to Levi's 517s.
They come fully equipped with four pockets at the waist and hips,
plus a mysterious pocket on the right calf that is just awesome.
And the fabric is amazing.
It looks like a blend of dyed black threads and the original white threads,
a fabric that is difficult to describe.
I suspect it might have been dyed and then partially bleached, but I'm not sure.
