A truly lovely vintage Swiss rayon jacket.
Designed with a large collar that drapes over the shoulders, asymmetrical buttons,
and voluminous sleeves and width, all in a cropped length with pockets.
A perfect 10/10. It looks great buttoned up or worn loose and draped.
The material is a high-quality cream-white viscose rayon with a soft, silky feel and a subtle sheen.
This was actually a jacket worn by a friend's mother at her wedding;
she wore this loose, soft white piece as a pregnant bride when she was expecting, which shows such impeccable taste.
Since that was right in 1990, I believe it is likely from the late 80s.
I asked if she was sure about letting go of such a sentimental item, but she's got a psychedelic vibe now and just said, "I don't wear it, so I want someone else to have it" lol.
It has been carefully stored and is in wonderful condition.
It has a relaxed fit that allows for layering over thick knits, so please enjoy wearing it for everyday or special occasions.
