A 1995 Patagonia Super Alpine in black. This is insane!!
As many of you likely know, this is extremely rare.
Produced for only three years, it features a distinctive grid-pattern material, with the white sections made of aramid, a high-strength fiber also used by the U.S. military.
It doesn't feel like a typical shell parka; it’s a truly excellent material—lightweight with a crisp structure.
It’s apparently famous for having been sampled by Supreme, which is something I learned for the first time today.
Getting a bit off-track, but there is no deterioration of the lining; the only issue is some slight degradation of the zipper tape on the ventilation zips. Please be sure to check the photos toward the end!
I’ve actually washed it once and wore it for the photo shoot, and there is no flaking or peeling. Since you rarely use ventilation zippers during normal wear, this poses no problem for daily use.
The rest of the condition is truly excellent. Usually, the lining tape on these is peeling or falling apart, but this one defies the odds and is in rare, top-tier condition.
This is definitely the first and last time I’ll ever have this in stock. haha
The quality is top-notch, but more importantly, the look when you put it on is irresistible.

Condition - The zipper tape on the underarm ventilation zips shows signs of deterioration, but it is not flaking off, and since these parts are rarely used during normal wear, it is not an issue. There is no other deterioration or hydrolysis, making this a miraculous find in terms of condition.
