About this Phil Collins fellow—the name sounded familiar, so I looked him up and realized he’s the drummer for Genesis! It seems he joined when he was 19.
I actually stocked some Genesis T-shirts recently and last year, and when I was doing my research then, I remembered seeing his name! Haha.
I looked into him again, and he is just so incredibly talented. Wow.
Not only is he a drummer, but apparently a singer, actor, and producer too. Just too much talent.
He started playing drums at five, and at the same time, he attended acting school and was already working as a child actor in theater by his early teens. Seriously amazing. Haha.
From there, the story goes that he joined Genesis at 19.
And on top of that, his T-shirts are cool too—that’s just unfair.
Much like Peter Gabriel, anything related to the people involved with Genesis just has a certain something different about it.
They really have great taste.
I was curious why, but I suppose they are just all incredibly gifted.
That makes perfect sense.
Anyway, I’ve gone on for a while, but I highly recommend this piece.
