I've avoided Oakley until now, but I think I've come across something amazing.
I found it during my last buying trip in Paris, and I was genuinely surprised. Haha
This might get a little long, but please bear with me. Haha
I'll explain the details and the fabric.
It's polyester on both the outside and inside, with padding (including the hood).
Regarding this polyester, I initially thought it was Limonta nylon until I checked the care tag.
It’s that soft, high-density, thick nylon often used by Prada and other Italian manufacturers.
The texture is exactly like that; it’s truly excellent. I really underestimated Oakley.
Also, this piece is snowboard wear, and the interior design is so cool, so please check it out.
There's a large zippered pocket inside, and it even has a port for earphone cords.
There's a drawcord at the hem, so you can cinch it.
Next, the exterior.
There’s a small zippered pocket on the left sleeve (for a lift pass), and the zippers running from both chests to the hem are ventilation, not pockets. There are also two zippered pockets at the waist.
Since this jacket was originally released as snowboard wear, it has incredible water repellency and heat retention. During the shoot, the outside temperature was below freezing, and since I don't usually use the room I shoot in, I had the heater off—but I wasn't cold at all wearing just this jacket over a cut-and-sew top.
The design, the fabric, and the details made me think it was top-tier, which is why I bought it. After actually wearing it for the shoot, I realized it's so functional that I really want to wear it constantly this winter.
The all-black look is also super cool.
