A 1930s French pajama shirt.
This is incredible... I've taken plenty of photos, so please take a look.
I found it last autumn at the home of an elderly dealer in France who has been very kind to me for many years.
For those in the know, the shape might make you think, "Is this a US Army pajama shirt?"
At first, I thought it was military gear too, but according to the dealer, these were pajamas worn in France during the 30s.
The tag has "paris" embroidered on it, which really cleared things up for me.
It's made of cotton, and this vintage cotton is just wonderful. It’s amazing that it’s still in such great shape.
It's in a condition that you can continue to wear hard and often.
It has a compact size and the construction is truly beautiful.
The silhouette when you slip it on is stunning!!!
