60-70s Hungarian vase / pot

The vibrant blue base with light blue hairlines is absolutely adorable.

It was brought out from a back shelf by a shopkeeper at a Budapest market,

and I decided right away that it was so cute I had to take it home.

Not only can it be used as a flower vase,

but it also looks wonderful sitting in a room as a water pitcher.

Although details are unknown as the hallmark is illegible,

this is also likely a 60s-70s piece by a Hungarian artist.

The way these unique lines are applied is also quite charming.

A three-piece set with similar lines on an orange base has also arrived.

Since I saw others like it in Hungary, I wonder if it’s a unique regional design...
