1960s-70s West German Fat Lava object or vase

West German Fat Lava from the 60s and 70s.

Fat Lava refers to vintage German vases,

and it seems "fat" means thick and "lava" refers to the glaze, so it translates to "thick lava glaze."

These are characterized by a glaze that resembles lava patterns.

It has a classic Fat Lava design that is reminiscent of molten rock.

It is incredibly cool. The color and presence are truly wonderful.

Items like this were a trend from the 60s to the 70s, and it is said that many were produced by both large companies and unknown artists in Germany at the time. Much about them remains unclear even today, and they have collectors all over the world.

The more I research it, the deeper and more fun it gets.

I find myself researching it late into the night until I fall asleep. lol

I know of two famous companies from this era, but neither has a logo mark on the bottom; they only have the "w-germany / west germany" stamp and a number. As for this particular Fat Lava piece,

the exact details are unknown. If anyone knows anything about it, please let me know!!

Regarding the numbers on the bottom, they indicate the shape number and the size in centimeters.
