1960s Dutch military cargo pants.
These are one of my favorite military pieces.
Although they are very wide, they have a beautiful silhouette.
The fabric is simply amazing.
It’s a supple, fine-textured vintage cotton double-face.
It’s not heavy, but it has a nice, substantial feel to it.
They are quite warm; I have a pair for personal use, and since I don't usually reach for them in the summer, I find them perfect for wearing from early autumn through spring.
The waist can be adjusted to three different settings using the side buttons.
If you find them too big, you could always move the buttons!
We actually moved ours to make the size even smaller. Haha.
As shown in the photos, there are three loops inside, so I believe it is also possible to cinch them from the inside.
Also, with large cargo pockets on both sides and back pockets, you don't have to worry if you prefer not to carry a bag. I’m one of those people who doesn't like to carry one, so this is quite important. Haha.
We had two pairs in stock about half a year ago, but we haven't had many opportunities to come across them since.
I managed to source just one pair during my buying trip to France last month.
They are deadstock and in great condition, and I can wholeheartedly recommend these even to those who don't usually wear wide-leg pants.
Though it's a military staple, I highly recommend them!
