60s French wool dressing gown

A 1960s gown I purchased in France a while ago.

Originally, it's a dressing gown meant to be worn indoors. It's just too cool, isn't it? Haha.

The material is vintage wool; it’s not too itchy and has a comfortable feel, as you'd expect for indoor loungewear. Since it's vintage, the fabric is high quality.

Most people will probably wear this outside as casual wear, but I think it would be great to actually wear at home as well.

It had been a while since I last saw one, so I had to buy it—it really is cool.

It’s personal, but it brings back memories. Haha.

I used to see them around fairly often, but over the last two years, opportunities to find vintage gowns have become rare, so I was really happy to find this. That's why it feels fresh to me now.

You could throw it on as a "twist" to your outfit, or go all out and wear it over a leather jacket—it's the kind of piece that can wrap around pretty much anything.

If you wear it at home, make sure to read a book while sipping on a whisky on the rocks. Haha.
