At first I thought it was a German piece similar to Le Corbusier, but it turned out to be French.
I was confused by this collar as I had never seen one like it before. Haha
I find this wool collar really cool with its unique vibe. I also like that it’s rare.
Since "CNET" is printed on the inside of the sleeve, it was issued to the French National Center for Telecommunications Studies in the 70s.
It’s been a while since I last sourced one, but it really is cool.
I don't know exactly what it is, but it's just cool; the pitch-black color adds to its incredible atmosphere.
And above all, this condition—I suspect it's deadstock, or if it was worn, it was only a few times. The leather quality is naturally soft and easy to wear; it's this comfortable now, so as you wear it over time, it will become even softer and more broken in.
The lining is wool, which is warm, and this wool feels great without being stiff.
The sleeve lining is viscose, which makes it easy to slip on and off—another big plus since you don't have to worry about what you're wearing underneath.
As for the size, the width is generous, but the length is perfectly cropped, making it easy to wear. It goes with anything. It's also fun because it changes impression depending on the pants you pair it with.
I think this is a piece you can wear for a lifetime.
