A 60s work coat, likely German.
Old, well-worn cotton that has become soft while still retaining a sturdy feel.
While you might find pieces up to the 70s, opportunities to come across 60s items, especially coats, are much rarer.
I’m not particularly fixated on the era, but once you get into the 60s, the character of the cotton shifts entirely,
becoming wonderfully worn-in and thinner, making it easy to throw on and wear.
The metal buttons on the sleeves and the small chest pocket are personal highlights for me.
A vintage work blue that you can easily throw on.
It’s a work coat that’s surprisingly hard to find, and I highly recommend it.
Has been washed once.
